Trade fair for manufacturing technology and engineering
The Nortec is a trade fair for manufacturing technology and engineering, which takes place every two years in Hamburg. It is the most important information and distribution platform for the industries of industrial production, engineering and metalworking in Northern Europe and presents all the stages of the production process chain, from prototype to the finished consumer product, from control and IT to logistics and quality control. The focus is laid on new technologies in metalworking and metalprocessing, but also laser, automation and electronics technologies. In addition, exhibitors present new market developments in production automation, 3D printing, electronics, laser technology as well as precision tools and contract manufacturers. The Nortec connects professionals with decision-makers, producers with suppliers and contract manufacturers and thus enables high-quality information and knowledge exchange. Here exhibitors reach visitors from the industries of aerospace, medical, wind energy technology and shipbuilding, mechanical and automotive engineering. The fair is accompanied by the Nortec forum for practical presentations and discussions on current topics of the production technology. A highlight of the exhibition is the innovation award Nortec Award, which is every year eagerly awaited.
