Xuan Steel, a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, recently developed 500 tons of bearing steel GCr15 with three standards of Φ22mm, Φ35mm and Φ40mm and a pass rate of 100% for markets in Beijing and Tianjin.
GCr15 steel, belonging to high carbon chromium bearing steel, is mainly used for manufacturing of rolling elements and rings for rolling bearings with strict demands of chemical composition uniformity, non-metallic inclusions content and distribution , carbides stringent distribution, and a large smelting difficult. Therefore, the technical staff of Xuan Steel tracked the quality on-site in 24 hours.
