On the annual council meeting of Rolling Bearing Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance held on December 8, 2015, eight new members including Lanzhou Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jiangyin Xingcheng Special Steel Co., Ltd., Wuxi Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Rongtianle Machinery Joint-stock Co., Ltd., FK Bearing Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Huxiwang Group Co.,Ltd., Handan Hongli Bearing Co., Ltd., Ningbo Mingrun Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Ltd.
Up to now, the number of the Alliance's members has reached to 50.
Rolling Bearing Industrial Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance was founded in July 2010, and then officially included in the pilot projects for national industrial technology innovation strategic alliance by the Ministry of Science and Technology in April 2012. From 2011 to 2013, the Alliance launched 11 innovative projects, five of which were listed as national key projects, and six as independent research and development projects, mainly concerning key technologies of bearings for high-speed railways, urban rail transit vehicles, high-end CNC machine tools, etc.
